Explanation of Approved Change in Water and Sewer Billing:
The new water and sewer rates no longer include 2,000 gallons in the base charge for usage for Residential 1 user accounts. The other change is the reduction in the base charge cost for water service from $19.00 to $16.00. Other than the lower tier now beginning at 0 gallons, the tiered rate structure for each 1,000 gallons consumed has not changed.
