STATE COURT OF BALDWIN COUNTY CITATION INFORMATION
A court appearance is not required for all offenses. Tickets that do not require a court appearance should be paid by the due date listed in Section IV of the ticket. If you do not pay by the due date, you risk the suspension of your drivers' license and a possible issuance of a bench warrant for your arrest. This is a partial list of fines that do not require a court appearance:

If you wish to contest any of the above, you must appear for court on the date and time set forth in Section IV of your ticket. Report to Baldwin Co. Courthouse, 4th floor, Courtroom #1 at 8:30 A.M.
There are two ways to pay a fine for those offense listed above:
1) TO PAY IN PERSON, come to Room 209, Baldwin County Courthouse, 121 N. Wilkinson Street, Milledgeville, Georgia. This is in downtown Milledgeville. You must pay by money order, cashier's check or cash. NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS ACCEPTED FOR TRAFFIC FINE PAYMENT. Office hours are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 8:45 A.M. until 4:45 P.M.
2) TO PAY BY MAIL, send a cashier's check or money order, made out to State Court of Baldwin County, and mail it to STATE COURT OF BALDWIN COUNTY, POST OFFICE BOX 987, MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA 31059-0987. Please enclose a copy of your ticket, or put the ticket number, which appears in the upper right hand corner, somewhere on your payment. If you want a receipt, please enclose a SASE with your payment.
If you are charged with any of the following offenses, YOU MUST APPEAR IN COURT
- DUI
- ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE AN OFFICER
- DRIVING WITH SUSPENDED OR REVOKED LICENSE
- NO INSURANCE COVERAGE ON VEHICLE
- ANY OFFENSE INVOLVING DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR PERSON
- ANY PERSON THAT IS UNDER THE AGE OF 21 AND GOING 24 OR MORE MILES PER HOUR OVER THE SPEED LIMIT
- ANY ONE OF ANY AGE GOING 40 MILES OR MORE OVER THE SPEED LIMIT
- POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
- LAYING DRAG-AGE 20 AND UNDER
- RECKLESS DRIVING
- OBSTRUCTION OF OFFICER
- POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL BY MINOR
- PUBLIC INTOXICATION
- RACING
