BALDWIN COUNTY ASSESSOR’S OFFICE
The applicant is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the assessor’s office. The applicant must develop and implement schedules and procedures for the valuation of real and personal property that will keep Baldwin County in compliance with the Georgia Department of Revenue rules and regulations. The applicant will also be in charge of creating an annual budget to submit to the Board of Assessor’s for their approval. The applicant will also supervise the eight person office staff and create a manageable plan of action that will focus on the main purpose of producing a county tax digest that meets all the criteria as set forth by the Georgia Department of Revenue.
The applicant must have a minimum of a Georgia Department of Revenue Appraiser III certification and a minimum of five years experience in appraisal valuation techniques. The applicant must also have computer skills related to computer assisted mass appraisal systems. A BS degree in business administration is preferred.

Starting salary range is $60,000 – $78,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
